Hi, I'm Chloe.

I have an arts background, which is not the most obvious starting point for a tech career. I taught myself how to code, and for a long time I felt like everyone else knew something I didn't. I was always a little worried I'd mess something up.

Turns out I'm actually pretty good at what I do.

I work as a frontend contractor at HSBC, and I'm slowly learning ML on the side. This blog is where I write that journey down — real debugging stories, what it's like to build a tech career from an unconventional starting point, and what this whole thing looks like without a CS degree.
